Obe's Jukebox #10

THE WIND IS PUSHING MEEEEEEEEE

INTO THE CLOUDS AGAIN

I FEEL THE BLOOD IN MY VEINS

Many people consider a video game's main theme and/or the intro music extremely important in setting the tone for the entire game. For example, Valkyria Chronicles does a great job in both its and and sets up nice groundwork for showing the oragnic and emotional side to war. What about Dragon's Dogma? What kind of tone are they going for in this? An epic orchestrated piece depicting the hero slaying the mighty dragon? Something to convey the grandeur of your awaiting journey? No; they went with J-Rock instead.

TRACK NAME: Into Free - Dangan

GAME: Dragon's Dogma (2012)

SYSTEM: Playstation 3, Xbox 360

COMPOSER: BZ's

Dragon's Dogma is a game PACKED with action, so it'd make sense to have a song to reflect that, but I'm pretty sure no human being on this planet expected a cheesy J-Rock track. Do I hate it? Hell no! This shit is awesome! Just the thing to get you pumped for some giant monster slaying.

When you hear this song play for the first time, you immediately feel a surge of energy, and the urge to murder beasts while blasting J-Rock overwhelms your every fiber. If you haven't played Dragon's Dogma, you really should; one of the best Action RPGs of 2012. You'll see how fun it is to J-Rock those monster's worlds.

Yeah, I made that joke. Sorry.
