So, was wrong; The Walking Dead did not return to the top of the charts this week. According to ComiXology sales last week taken from iOS in-app purchase charts, Forever Evil and the Saga series battled for supremacy across the globe. Well, there goes my fantasy of becoming the next .
Broken dreams aside, Forever Evil and Saga were pretty much neck-and-neck, the former reaching the summit in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Ireland, and Japan, while the latter reigned supreme in Australia, Germany, Sweden, and Russia. Tight race, but it looks like Forever Evil managed a victory over Saga. The Walking Dead is still number one in Spain, so there is still hope for my premonition to come true!
Mexico showed some love to Batman, The Killing Joke and The Complete Hush taking up the top two spots respectively. The Locke & Key series was also popular last week, many of its issues appearing on the charts across the majority of Europe, including Germany, Russia, Ireland, and France.
Also - when did The Vampire Diaries become a comic book? When did I miss this memo? Two of this (supposed) comic's issues appeared on the charts in China. They also coronated the first issue of Robotech/ Voltron last week. Way to be a trendsetter, China.
