PENAMPANG: Sylvia Voo and Clifford Owen Johnny walked away with prizes worth over RM1,600 after being declared as Miss and Mr Christmas Carnival for children aged seven and below, held at the KDCA Hall in Penampang on Dec 14.
Seventeen children, some coming from as far as Kota Marudu, took part in the contest.
The contestants were judged on their costume, appearance, confidence and personality.
The RM1,600 prize consisted of cash, shopping and gift voucher courtesy of Mothercare, Kids Avenue, Hotel Sixty3 and Music Monster Academy.
The organisers, E Best Co and The Prot gwere delighted with the response
to the carnival which drew over 4,000 visitors. Besides 50 shopping booths, other activities held were the Cupcake Challenge, Kids Coloring Contest, Zumba for Charity, Facepainting fun, Meet Santa & cartoon characters, bouncy castle and photo booth.
