'Twas the Night Before Christmas!

Twas the night before Christmas.... We had a busy day.First up, we had to bake cookies for Santa! Sugar cookies and gingerbread cookies.Yum!

They turned out good and the kids and Chuck and I had fun decorating them. After all that baking, it was time to go to Grandma and Grandpa's for soup and chili. We also ordered pizza.I let the kid open one present early because I always did. They all got crafts to make. Bub got a kit where he can paint an airplane, train, and fire engine. He got started right away. Evie just wanted to bring her Princess book that was one of our 24 days of Christmas books Presley and Daddy got the airplane painted and put together. We always do a jammie Christmas Eve. The kids were so excited about Santa coming. Aren't they the most darling kids? We took pictures but they had the most fun with Auntie Amy. This is their "Santa" face. And their scary monster face. We made a quick stop to see Baby Colton before we headed home so we could give him his gift. Evie just adores him. We had to take multiple pictures because everyone had to take a turn holding him.

When we got home, we had to sprinkle our reindeer food in the driveway so the reindeer can have a snack when Santa comes.

We also had to check the Santa tracker to see where Santa was.He was in South America. So we left out some cookies and milk and went to sleep. The kids all had their own tree this year too. They are so excited about that. Our beautiful tree. It's the last year with this tree because it will be too tall for our new house. But finally, the kids were asleep dreaming of what Santa would bring them.

I went to midnight mass and Santa did come and now I'd bette go to sleep because the kids will be up in a few hours.Merry Christmas!
