American Horror Story: Coven spoilers

It looks like Fiona and Cordelia have ruffled a few feathers in Marie Laveau's camp as the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans has launched a full-scale assault on Miss Robichaux's Academy. As the last episode of AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN wrapped up, Cordelia was blinded by an acid attack in a restroom, and the entire cast of Thriller had descended upon the Academy!

So where will Burn, Witch. Burn! pick up? There are several loose ends from Fearful Pranks Ensue. The major plot points are:

* Cordelia's husband - who stinks of bullshit, according to Fiona - is a cold-blooded killer, casually sleeping with and then killing women around the country. Which begs the question: what's he playing at?

* Spalding has made Madison his toy doll. Did the sight of Denis O'Hare dressed as a woman frighten you more than anything else on TV this week? Me too. The big question is, was Fiona telling the truth and Madison really is alive and now the plaything of Lurch 2.0?

* Who is the next Supreme? If Madison truly wasn't capable of taking her place, then which of the girls is the next in line? My guess is it's probably Zoe, but hard to tell at this point. One thing's for sure, the next Supreme probably shouldn't announce the matter to Fiona.

* Has Cordelia really been blinded? And what will be the repercussions if she doesn't get her sight back?

Here's the official line on Burn, Witch. Burn!:

Besieged by Marie Laveau's army, Zoe unleashes a new power. Fiona and Myrtle clash over control of the Coven. Madame LaLaurie is confronted by old ghosts.

NEXT TIME TRAILER:

So, here's what to expect: Fiona will go to the Council of Witches to tell them about the attack on Cordelia. It looks like she's incensed and hell bent on revenge. Likewise, Hank pays Cordelia a visit in hospital and he wants to know who attacked her as well.

Back at the Academy, Madame LaLaurie is battening down the hatches for an attack of zombies. And having seen those monsters at work in the 1960s, we know they're mindless killing machines, like decaying Terminators.

Finally, in keeping with the title of the episode, it looks like Fiona may be staging a good old fashioned witch burning of her own - but is that Marie Laveau tied to the post?
