Lon Chaney Jr., Claude Rains, Bela Lugosi, Warren William, Evelyn Ankers, and Maria Ouspenskaya, are in a horrifying but classic Universal Pictures classic, that's related to "Universal Studios Monsters" and did a remake in 2010 on the same name. In the 2010 remake were, Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt, Hugo Weaving, Geraldine Chaplin, and Benicio del Toro.
When a member of the Talbot family returns, Lawrence Talbot was be glad to be home and saw his father, Sir John Talbot. After a little while later, while making a big telescope, it zoomed in on the village so fast and hard, it made Larry see a woman on jewelry and stuff. He met this woman and was interested in a shop like that. Her name was Gwen, and she had earrings that had pearls. When Larry bought a cane, it had a silver tip with the head of a wolf. As Gwen and Larry talked, they even mentioned about werewolves.
It meant that every night, when the moon is full, someone would transform into a wolf. Like running all fours, bailing at the moon, howls at night, and attacks someone. "Little Red Riding Hood" was a werewolf story also. They were just about to say "goodbye" when gypsies came to town. Back in the old days, gypsies would go around town even in the autumn as they are meant to be a little bit on fortune tellers. Even one met Quasimodo in the book, "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". But today, they don't exist I think.
At night, when looking at wolfsbane, they met these gypsies. But tonight went wrong when Gwen's friend was worried about her fortune. One of the gypsies was a werewolf! When this friend of Gwen was attacked by this wolf and died, Lawrence stopped this werewolf by killing it. Unlucky he was, when he was attacked and bitten. A few days later, he spent the rest of his days at home recovering from his pain.
He felt fine, but was going a bit of changes. He felt like he can't shoot a wolf stand during a shooting game with a BB gun, or any of that. Legend says that if one gets attacked by a werewolf, becomes a werewolf too when the moon is full. And that started to happen to Larry. His legs and body was getting hairy, starting to wolf like, as he starts to become the Wolf Man.
After being out in horror, people will know about who the werewolf is. In the 1947 version, he had to be hidden. In the 2010, he was sent to London to stop this by gadgets and gizmos they did to him. Nothing happened. In a courthouse, he was transformed again and started to murder some people, as he escaped. In both versions to what I saw, Larry Talbot was no more, especially as a werewolf when he died.
The only ways to kill a werewolf is by shooting silver bullets on a double barrel shotgun, and giving it silver. Wolves hate silver.
