Here's my pre-painted statues & kits from different sculptors/ artists who uses traditional hand sculpting methods to create these beautiful pieces.
My all time favorite sculptor is Japanese master artist Takayuki Takeya. His stylized anime, tokusatsu, game & other media characters with intricate sculpted details makes most of his art works must haves for me.

One ofTakeya's stylized piece of H.R. Giger's Alien. The Alien pile, a limited edition cold cast statue of 1000 distributed by Sideshow & Fewture collaboration. Fewture also did released this as limited edition statues & resin kits.

1/6 SCALE. CYBER NINJA. CROWD/ MAX FACTORY. VINYL KIT. 1988.An 80s vintage popular garage vinyl kit. A classic sculpted by Takayuki Takeya based on Keita Amemiya's Mirai Ninja, more popularly known as Cyber Ninja.
1/6 SCALE. DEVILMAN. MAX FACTORY. VINYL KIT. 1996.A 90s vinyl kit released by Max Factory Japan of the famous Go Nagai's character. One of the best Devilman sculpt available. I had mine painted in flesh color with burns as below. A rarer resin kit version was also available.
1/8 SCALE. DEVILMAN BUST. HAPPINET. PRE PAINTED STATUE BUST. 2006This Devilman PVC bust was sculpted by Takeya for FiguAx's Devilman Art Collection Complex series. There were a total of 7 artists involved for the 10 Devilman versions produced.
1/6 SCALE. KAPPA MUMMY. ART STORM FEWTURE. PRE PAINTED STATUE. 2011Kappa (River child), a popular Japanese folklore yokai (ghost). The stylized mummy pre paint vinyl version of this character was designed & supervised by Takeya with sculpting by Tatsuhiro Fujiwara, one of Art Storm Fewture's sculptor. Also was available in resin kit.
1/6 SCALE. MECHANICAL VIOLATOR HAKAIDER. ART STORM FEWTURE. PRE-PAINTED STATUE. 2008
One of Takeya's most popular piece based on Amemiya's Mechanical Violator Hakaider tokusatsu film. Hakaider steps on top of a base on decomposed Michael. Besides this prepaint vinyl version, Fewture also released both vinyl & resin kits of Hakaider.
7.5". MIKAZUKI. CROWD/ MAX FACTORY. PRE-PAINTED STATUE. 2001
Another collaboration between Amemiya & Takeya. Besides sculpting this resin statue, Takeya was also involved for the original Tokusatsu designs in 2000. There were 2 versions released. Mine is the limited edition version which comes with a hand signed card by both Keita Amemiya & Takayuki Takeya.

One ofTakeya's controversial stylized piece. An ancient Samurai Predator riding an Alien warrior Horse. Fewture also released resin kits as well as 2 versions of these pre paint cold cast statues in limited quantities and were considered a grail as they were not found outside Japan. In 2008, Sideshow & Fewture collaborated and distribute it worldwide with another limited run of750.

A classic beautiful pre paint resin statue by Takeya, based on Yoshitaka Amano's art. The sculpt showcases Takeya's talents transforming a beautiful 2D Amano art styled painting into a 3D piece of art sculpture. Also was available in both vinyl & resin kit with metal etched parts.

Another collaboration works by Amemiya x Takeya. This Zeiram 1/10 figure has similar sculpt as the larger 1/6 Kaiyodo kit. This version also has batt-op light up eyes feature. Both scales has removable cowl/ cape.
REFERENCE BOOKSANGLES OF HUNTERSTakeya's Angles Of Hunters, the best reference book of Takeya's own original works over the years. I have the recent 2013 revised version which features his Angles Of Hunters exhibition sculptures in depth. The first release of the same title was a 2 book series which also features the kits Takeya sculpted.

SUSUMU SUGITA1/6 SCALE. GRAVEYARD. AVATAR. PRE-PAINTED STATUE. 1998Based on one of my favorite comic artist Simon Bisley's character art. Moore Creations/ Avatar produced this limited edition & numbered pre-painted statue sculpted by Sugita. Was also available in resin kit form.
1/8 SCALE. VENOM. AVATAR. UNPRODUCTION PRE-PAINTED STATUE. 1996Based on Simon Bisley's Venom. Rare pre-paint resin statue sculpted by Sugita. Official known release only in limited edition resin kit. Rumours has it that this is Avatar Japan's unproduction pre-painted statue, & quantity to be only about 100pcs.
TAISHIRO KIYA1/6 SCALE. CARNAGE. HORIZON. VINYL KIT. 1992One of the best posed Carnage sculpt. This was my first vinyl kit I tried building way back, I was so impressed with the sculpt with all the tendrils that I picked up model kit building. I have lost the kit that I built back then but I managed to find another of this good old kit from a local hobby store.
