Okay, so that's not the original story of the 47 Ronin. Not by a long chalk. Not by around 46 Ronin, some might quip. And by some, I mean Craig.
But it looks very polished, for sure, and director CARL ERIK RINSCH has a good eye.
Releasing this on Boxing Day here in the UK and on Christmas Day in the US seems like a good idea. It feels like a bit like a family outing to the pictures, the way those Harryhausen monster movies used to feel back when I was small.
