DreamWorks' Captain UnderPants Gets a Director

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Dreamworks Animation's upcoming adaptation of Dav Pilkey's popular children's book Captain Underpants has finally found a director: Monster vs. Aliens' Rob Letterman. The project also has a script penned by Nicholas Stoller (The Muppets, Muppets Most Wanted, Neighbors), with Dreamworks' development executive Damon Ross taking charge.

The book has been part of many best seller lists and has already published more than 50 million copies in the US alone.
