Last night, The Vampire Diaries focused on Stefan's amnesia, a state in which he made an alarming discovery - for him - that came as a devastating shock, as it would for anyone in his soap opera-esque position.
We also saw new twists with Matt and Jesse, while Bonnie's death, as our discussed, made the episode after it was finally and emotionally revealed by Jeremy to the rest of her friends.
Next week, on Halloween night, the show fittingly throws a "Monster's Ball" for us to enjoy.According to the official synopsis, Elena is touched by a sad, secretive student named Aaron (Shaun Sipos), while she and Damon attend the Whitmore Historical Ball dressed as Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII.
There, she shares a dance with Dr. Maxfield (Rick Cosnett), who has a disturbing message for her. Meanwhile, best friend Caroline's own evening at the Ball takes her from happiness to heartbreak.
Elsewhere, Nadia (Olga Fonda) reveals her surprising history to Katherine, and Damon tries to make a deal with Silas, who demands Damon commit an unthinkable act leads to a violent confrontation.
