Outbreak company: First Impressions

As time goes on more it's seems animators are targeting otaku culture. while that's not a bad thing it could have some downsides. Here is the synopsis of the new otaku based anime by produced by studio Feel and directed kei oikawa(minami-ke series).

Kano Shinichi is a thoroughbred otaku. One day he found himself transported to a fantasy world where elves live and dragons fly. And he is given a task "not to fight monsters, but to enhance cultural exchange by becoming a "moe missionar"!

The anime scheduled for a 12 episode run while three episodes have already aired respectively. like the synopsis states shinichi is an otaku for life and is doing the usual otaku thing when he answers a questionaire secretly ran by governement. At first glance animation looks fairly decent by normal anime standards. Lots of brights colors and and a central focus on the new world shinichi has been thrown into and has been told to teach the ways of the otaku to. More specifically the fact that democracy does not exist in this world.

This anime is definitely the "living the dream" type of anime. Shinichi gets a maid type character named miusel in the very first moment s he's awake(lucky him) in this new world. My jealousy would continue when shinichi is brought before the "supreme ruler of the land and she looks like no older than 11 or 12 years old. You can tell this was made with avid anime watchers in mind. i can easily see this spiraling into harem anime quickly..............that was until the end of the third episode when some serious righteous "master race" thugs show up and totally change the pace.

The Character designs are in my opinion very spot on for the audience they're targeting. the MC is relatable to viewers who have they themselves claim the name otaku. The females characters so far fit into a recognizable popular theme of moe that has devoloped over the years.

I only hope it continues be great because for what it is outbreak company could very well be in the top fall anime by the time it's over. I'm definitely gonna finish watching it and i recommend long time anime viewers check it out.
