Most would think that one who is psychopathic, power-obsessed and drowned-in-madness, as a monster. A monster that kills his own people for the sake of an insane ambition of creating a perfect world.
This is Archane, he's the antagonist of my comic , and a very precious character. Even though through the eyes of most readers, they see him as a psychopathic maniac.
He was born a normal child. A sweet, innocent child with a new beginning, his whole life ahead of him. But because of the circumstances of his birth, he was labelled 'special'.
'You're going to be a great king'
His freedom was taken away from him since birth, and the people of his land saw him as their future king. Little did they know, Archane was human too, and deserved to be treated like one. It was too late though. One day he just lost the patience to bear with all the pressure of being 'special', and everything just went wrong.
Sure, he has corrupted the land and took the lives of many. But what was it that caused all this?
Everyone is born free.
Taking away that part of them
is as bad as taking away a part of the brighter future.
