Scotland's Travelling Ideas

Scotland is part of the United Kingdom and can be found north of England. The country is mostly famous for whiskey and golf and haggis. As a rich landscape surrounds the countryside don't worry as you are never far from any of the towns or cities as they can easily be reached by car.



In Edinburgh which is the capital city of Scotland . Each summer the city turns itself into a live events show with all sorts of different shows taking part in all sorts of different areas including street vendors and plays. There is a variety of different types of acts on through out the city during this month which is growing in popularity.




Most visitors who come here often wish to visit the castle which is set on the hill just above Princess Gardens. There is a lot of interesting facts and history attached to the castle including all the information on Mary Queen of Scots and St Margaret's Chapel and not forgetting the Stone of Destiny and all the history including the recent history of the stone's disappearance.



What about the city of Stirling and all the history that the it is steeped in which include Bannock Burn and William's lasting impression in Scotland. Head over to Robert Bruce visitor centre which explains all about the history which he played in Scotland.



After visiting the cities you may to consider visiting some of the lochs around the north of Scotland. Perhaps a visit to the scary Loch Ness and wish for the monster to appear before you so you can take that all exclusive photo and start the story telling again. Close to the Loch you will be able to visit the battle of Culloden and Inverness.



Heading to other parts of Scotland could take you to Glasgow which is home to engineering and ship building or over to St Andrew's for a game of golf. No matter what part of Scotland you wish to drive around your hired car will reach any part of the country within a few hours of landing at any one of the Scottish Airports.
