Hey, seamus, as long as you're pretending to be all these other people,

I expect to see evidence that you have purchased health insurance on behalf

I'm saying I shouldn't be required to buy a policy whose premiums have

soared compared to the one I had because it covers a condition that is

biologically impossible for me to ever experience.

Who is "seamus", Kerman? There is nobody in this newsgroup using that

alias. And what does health insurance have to do with television, Verman?

Misogynist alert. Misogynist alert. Do not let wolfagain enjoy female

company ever again, women of the world. (Imagine how quickly misogyny

would disappear if being a misogynist meant never getting laid?)

They do more often than not. They have good seasons and bad seasons, and

good seasons until the end, or bad seasons till the end.

Fat lot of good that does him if there's no way to select that recording

for playback. In fact, it's worse than not recorded -- it's not only

unplayable, it's also taking up space on the fucking machine, unlike a

merely missing recording, with no way to tell the machine to delete it!

> Is it time to come out of the closet?

It is time for the networks to stop fucking around. Bill Steele's local

affiliate's failure to air SHIELD as promised is just the latest in a

long litany of malicious misbehavior by the networks and their affiliate

stations, behavior that must start being severely punished because years

and years of just asking politely obviously hasn't worked to curb it.

The networks are problem children, and need to be grounded and their

allowances docked until they learn discipline. Particularly, the

discipline to make a schedule in September, another in December, and

another in June and stick to it like glue until the next of the named

months. Also, the discipline to draw neatly inside of the schedule boxes

without scribbling over the borders of said boxes -- so no more of this

"9:00 to 10:02" crap, and no sports overruns (put sports, and "reality"

and other junk, on their own dedicated subchannels and assorted cable

ghettoes where they won't interfere with scripted programming).

Especially these in-body bullet hits. In the Civil War, mortality rate ranged from 85%-100% for shots in the body. I would expect it to be at least 1/2 that in Revolution.

My scariest deal as a kid was probably a Hitchcock movie, and probably

PSYCHO. I don't recall how old I was when I first saw it, but the scary

stuff made me completely forget about the lead-up involving the theft of

the cash, and all that.

I'm an average chess player and have played piano since I was a kid, but

I don't think that many people would call me "highbrow." I try to strike

a balance. :)

Opera and ballet are probably the only two artsy things that don't

appeal to me much at all, although my aversion to the former has more to

do with *going* to the opera than with listening to it.
